Fire Carrier Defense is a blog for aspiring self-defenders seeking to prepare for both everyday and extraordinary risks in order to secure health, happiness, and longevity of life for themselves and their stakeholders. I am on my own journey of study, training, and practice in the disciplines of defensive pistolcraft, martial arts, and physical fitness; in fact, in the grand scheme of things, I have only just taken my first baby steps. My hope is that, as I explore these subjects, concepts, and experiences in writing and grow as a student, I can network with others who have the same passion for learning and perhaps encourage newcomers to embark upon journeys of their own.
